The Hawke's Bay Rugby Union is excited to help you with your fundraising efforts. You can sell credit to Magpies home games, the purchaser can use credit to buy tickets and you will recieve 50% of whatever amount is purchased. 

Simply drive your fundarising efforts by sharing a link on social media, via email or any other means and we will take care of the rest.

Once approved we'll set you up with a personalised link to our ticketing platform (Flicket) to sell Magpies Ticket Vouchers.

  • Earn While You Sell

For every ticket voucher sold through your link, 50% of the earnings go directly back to you or your group. For example - if someone purchases a $20 voucher you will recieve $10 of this. The remaining 50% supports the Hawke's Bay Rugby Union and our grassroots rugby intitiatives. You will be able to offer people the ability to purchase as many or as much as they like. 

  • What the purchaser gets

The purchaser will be able to use 100% of whatever they contribute in the form of credit. This credit will be associated to the purchasers email address and can be used to purchase any tickets online to the Magpies 2025 Bunnnigs NPC home games.

What games are the vouchers available for?

We have five round robin Magpies Bunnings NPC home games at McLean Park to choose from. Buyers have the option to pick any of these games that they wish to attend. 

The five home games avaialble are:

v Counties Manukau - 4:35pm, Sunday 3rd August

v North Harbour- 7:05pm, Saturday 16th August 

v Canterbury-  7:05pm, Friday 22nd August

v Wellington - 2:05pm, Saturday 6th September

v Auckland ​​​​​​​- 7:05pm, Thursday 25th September

Who can be apart of the fundraiser?

This fundraising opportunity is available to any sports club, school, charity or individual looking to fundraise for an event or cause. 

How do I redeem my Ticketing Voucher?

Vouchers that are brought will be loaded in as credit to your account/email address on Flicket. A prompt will pop up asking if you would like to redeem this credit when purchasing tickets for a Magpies Home Game through the Flicket website. 

How do I earn money for my cause?

When selling a voucher, 50% of the sale will go directly towards your organisations bank account following the completion of your fundraising period. 

Does this fundraising opportunity stop at any time? 

We will be providing this opportunity up until the 31st of July. It will repoen again at the end of October until the next Magpies season. 

What denominations will be available for purchase? 

Generally we will have $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100 options avaliable. People can purchase as many of each denomianation as they like. 

Does the credit expire? 

Yes, the credit must be used during the 2025 Magpies season and can only be used at home games.

No refunds will be given for fundraising tickets. Credit must used during any home games of the year purchased. Credit can be used if Magpies secure home playoff games. 

How can I track how many an individual has sold?

If your group will like to keep track of how many ticket vouchers individuals have sold, let us know when applying, and provide a spreadsheet of the people involved with the fundraiser.

We will then create a codes (the persons name) for each person, and when they sell a ticket voucher, the purchaser will input their specific access code, e.g. "JOHN DOE"

This will then allow for you to see what individual has been selling the most.

How do I get the funds? 

The HBRU will collect some details including a bank account number and find out what date you intend to fundraise to. Following this date the HBRU will provide a summary and deposit 50% of total funds into the account.
